Job Vacancy – IT Shop Assistant/Technician @ Banbury

We are looking for an IT Shop Assistant who can deal with customers on a day to day basis. This is a full time position and any candidates applying will need previous experience. We also require that you have basic computer repair skills for helping our technicians out from time to time.

Key Skills required are:

  • Dynamic and self-motivated person required
  • Invoicing, re-stocking, quoting and selling to customers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Being able to work under pressure
  • Punctual with excellent time keeping
  • Dealing with customers on the phone and face to face
  • Any previous IT experience would be advantageous
  • Working hours would include some Saturdays per month (day off in the week)

The successful candidate will be joining a fast and forward thinking IT Support Company.

Salary will be negotiable and weekends and evenings maybe required.

We are currently looking for a qualified Systems Engineer that will help support our customers IT infrastructure, including all sizes and types. Starting immediately.

You will be required to work on your own initiative and part of a team. Out of hours will be required from time to time to perform maintenance tasks.

Main duties include:

  • Windows Server 2003, 2012, 2012R2
  • Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016
  • Networking, VPNs and multi-site WAN connections
  • VMWare/Hyper-V experience
  • 2nd/3rd Line support activities
  • VLAN experience
  • Sage experience – not essential
  • Supporting customers onsite or remotely nationwide.
  • Driving Licence essential
  • Shared storage setup and configuration – MSAs
  • Microsoft Qualifications – a must.
